The School of Chinese Education is part of New CLCS (新金山文化学校).

New CLCS was established in 1992 and is the largest Chinese language school in Australia by enrolment, with 3,000 students, more than 150 contracted teachers and nine campuses across Melbourne plus a head office in Box Hill.
It is a non-profit community school founded by a group of educators with the vision of sowing the seeds of Chinese culture in Australian soil.

Accredited by the Chinese Hanban as the only testing venue in Melbourne for the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) and the Youth Chinese Test (YCT).
The only school appointed by the Hanban in Australia to host the HSK and YCT Winter Camps.
